01 / Applications

What you make with a CNC router for wood.

One machine covers panel-based furniture production, joinery and decorative wood parts.

A

Panel furniture (MDF, chipboard, plywood)

Nested cutting of cabinet carcasses, shelves and fronts, with holes and grooves in the same pass. Less waste, repeatable parts from the first to the last.

B

Joinery and solid wood

Doors, window parts, stair treads and solid-wood components: profiles, pockets and joints, with tools matched to each species.

C

Fronts, decoration and engraving

Profiled fronts, decorative panels, letters and engraved patterns. One machine for small runs and for production.

02 / Configuration

05 / FAQ

Frequently asked questions about a CNC router for wood.

Which CNC router is right for furniture?

For panel furniture you need a zoned vacuum table, an automatic tool changer and a powerful spindle. The 2000 x 3050 mm format (NCM 2030B or NCM 2030A) covers common panels and allows nesting. For very long parts choose the 2000 x 4050 mm format.

Can I machine MDF, chipboard and solid wood on the same machine?

Yes, with tools suited to each material: compression cutters for melamine chipboard, straight or spiral cutters for MDF and solid wood. Working parameters (speed, feed, depth of cut) are set by testing on your material, and training shows you how.

What table size do I need?

Start from your largest panel and longest part, plus a margin for workholding. If you send us your panel and part dimensions, we recommend the right format for free.

How much does a CNC router for wood cost?

The price depends on the configuration: table size, controller, tool magazine, vacuum and accessories. We do not publish a fixed price; we send a custom quote after we discuss what you produce. The cost factors are explained in our price guide.

Do you offer installation, training and service?

Yes. We include installation and commissioning at your site, operator training, in-warranty and post-warranty service, calibration, refurbishment and a buy-back program. See the NC Mechanics services.
